【Futurus分享】 South China Morning Post: Spirit of Hong Kong Awards: social enterprise promotes dignified dining with soft meals


恭喜The Project Futurus 創辦人兼行政總裁 Queenie Man 登上南華早報的專訪,報道裏提及她對吞嚥困難與社會老齡化議題的關注。希望透過我們其中的一項旗艦社區計劃「流動五感大茶樓™」,通過企業及社區的合作,令「飲茶」不受地區約束 ,藉著美味的軟餐,不論各式各樣的中式點心,照顧者及長者都能分享美食,積極推廣「同餐同桌」文化,打破時代的隔閡,實踐樂齡正向的願景。


此外,The Project Futurus更與鏞記酒家 Yung Kee Restaurant合作,為鏞記的傳統菜式重新設計成不同程度的吞嚥友善版本,希望可以將滋味分享給吞嚥困難患者,讓他們放心享受味蕾上的盛宴。


除此之外,我們相信教育能改變未來,透過在各學校舉辦軟餐工作坊及講座,向學生推廣尊嚴飲食,以及培養他們的同理心同社區關懷。


Congratulations to Queenie Man, founder and CEO of The Project Futurus, for being featured in an interview by the South China Morning Post. The report highlights her concern for issues related to swallowing difficulties and the aging population. Through one of our flagship community initiatives, " Sensory Restaurant on Wheels ™," we aim to make "yum cha" accessible regardless of location by collaborating with corporates and communities. With delicious softmeals, which include a variety of Chinese dim sums, caregivers and the elderly can enjoy sharing food together, promoting a "dining together" culture that bridges generational gaps and embodies a positive vision for aging.


Additionally, we have partnered with Yung Kee Restaurant to create softmeal versions of well-known Cantonese dishes, hoping to share these flavours with those experiencing swallowing difficulties, allowing them to enjoy a feast. At the same time, we believe that education can change the future.


By organising softmeal workshops and lectures in various schools, we aim to promote dignified dining and cultivate empathy and community care among students.
